Midwest Elite Track expands with indoor program and new hubs
Ottawa's Midwest Elite Track formerly Ottawa Track Club grows from five to 33 members this summer, adding five Junior Olympic qualifiers. By mid September it will offer indoor training in Louisburg coached by Brianna Salas, with a Louisburg squad and an Iola program led by Josh Whittaker. The club will keep two age groups, weather permitting training at Ottawa High School, Ottawa University, or the Recreation Center. Meets planned via USATF schedule with KU, K-State, Wichita State, and possible Johnson County events.
