If I Had Bought That Kansas City Corner
A narrator reflects on missed fortune from a Kansas City land deal at 78th and State Avenue in the mid 1950s. He recalls his father's regret, the buyer's unmade choice, and how later development brought wealth to others, while the speaker learns to value what is given. The piece ties heart perspective to faith, gratitude, and the idea of "just enough" from God amid daily burdens.

Discipline by action not anger for teens and kids
Dr Dobson suggests using non angry, practical discipline to guide teens. He cites examples from Russia with drug convictions and household tactics like withholding hot water, hiding personal items, or creating measurable trade offs such as one minute of TV per minute read. The approach centers on privileges, not threats, and lifelong responsibility.
