Kansas Militia Denies Involvement in Oklahoma City Bombing
Kansas Militia leaders insist their group trains monthly for defense and deny links to the Oklahoma City bombing. Brigadier general Brad Glover argues the attack was a government setup to discredit state militias as FBI officials say they monitor only First Amendment activities. The Kansas Militia splits into northern and southern divisions led by Craig Korth and Glover respectively.

McVeigh Stayed Quiet During Junction City Motel Visit
Oklahoma bombing suspect Timothy McVeigh checked into The Dreamland Motel in Junction City from April 14 for four nights paying 88.95 dollars in cash. He offered only general remarks, moving a rental truck and using the name Tim McVeigh with an Arizona plate on a Ford Mercury. Local motel owner Lea McGown described him as polite, clean cut, and a smooth talker who revealed little about himself. Authorities later questioned her and dusted the room as part of the investigation. The report ties Nichols farm address in Michigan to the rental and notes Kansas militia activity with experts saying many groups are small and loosely organized.
