Ottawa softball earns opener big after ECAC tie loss
The Ottawa University Lady Braves split with McPherson, winning 9-1 in six innings to move into a KCAC ECAC co lead and dropping a 7-6 nightcap. Catherine Wallace belted two homers with four RBIs in game one while Elisa Valenzuela went 3 for 4 with four RBIs. Darin Lewis went 3 for 3 in the nightcap and Ottawa now stands 11-3 in ECAC play heading to Southwestern at 1 p.m.
