Oswego High Band Honors Two Veteran Teachers
The Oswego High School Symphonic Band receives a long playing album from United Sound of California. The gift honors 44 plus years of service by Ruth Raby and Francis T. Riley. Band president Sydney Dimon and vice president Mike Copps present the records to the honored teachers. Sue Dean also receives an album despite her absence.

Home Bureau Group Holds Last Meeting
Maple Leaf Home Bureau Chapter held its final summer meeting at the high school with 14 members. Officers were reelected and activities included Granny Dolls and bead work. A June 27 county meeting and a July 10 picnic were announced. A birthday fund donation supported a state scholarship.

Cobb Not To Seek Another Board Election
SANDY CREEK The annual Sandy Creek Central School District meeting will be held July 11 at 3 p.m. Walter Cobb announces he will not seek re election. Cobb became board president in 1967 and has held various district posts. Petitions for board candidates are due June 27 to Clerk Beryle Greenfield. Financial statements for 1972 73 will be available at office hours and at the July 11 meeting.
