A one car personal injury crash on County Route 1 North Road injured Ralph R. McLaughlin age 20 of Oswego after he fell asleep at 6:22 a.m. He suffered facial and head abrasions and an ankle injury and was taken to Oswego Hospital. He received a summons for failure to keep right and will appear in Scriba Town Court.

$200 Increase For Teachers Recommended
State fact finder Robert A. Mullane proposed a $200 pay raise for Phoenix Central Schools teachers raising base pay to $7,350 and moving each staff member to the correct step. The Boston College Office of the President announces that George Ladd, assistant professor in the School of Education since 1969, is promoted to associate professor for the 1972 73 academic year. He earned a 1962 B S from State University College Oswego and advanced degrees from Indiana University. He co authored Field Excursions in Geology and edited the Journal of Geological Education film review. Ladd conducts NSF sponsored research and resides in Natick with his wife and three children. He is son of Mrs Hattie Ladd of Oswego RD 2 and the late Lloyd Ladd.

Couple Hurt In Rt 81 Crash Near Parish
State Police from Pulaski reported two accidents in the county on Wednesday injuring three people and issuing one summons. Russell Swingle 66 of Strasburg PA suffered chest injuries when his car lost control on Route 81 near Parish and overturned the trailer he was pulling. his wife was treated for arm injuries. They were taken to Community General Hospital in Syracuse. Earlier, Robert Seamans of Williamstown sustained head and shoulder injuries after his car overturned on Panther Lake Road Route 17 when he hit a dog. he was cited for speeds too fast for conditions. The incident occurred around 12:50 PM and 6:45 AM respectively.
