Stromsburg Ducks Osceola 6-0 in Tight High School Football Battle
Stromsburg edged Osceola 6-0 as a 4th quarter touchdown after a fumbled handoff proved decisive. Key plays included Studley and Dozier on defense and Randy Studley leading rushers for Stromsburg while Burg standouts Anderson Quick and Lind produced the best yardage for their team. Osceola's defense stifled early drives but could not overcome the late score before a near capacity crowd. The win marks Stromsburg’s second in eight years over Osceola Coach Ken Sipes, with both teams’ defenses highlighted by strong line and backfield efforts. The Bulldogs prepare for a Clarks visit next Friday as they try to rebound from the setback.
