Mrs. Charles Timm marked her 82nd birthday with family visits from Don Dixon of Denver and Opal Wount of Chicago over the weekend. It was her first reunion with daughter in eight years, followed by a Tuesday gathering at the Timm home with Viola Wieseman and others, including gifts and a birthday cake. Out-of-state guests departed Wednesday morning.

Interment was at Inglewood Park Cemetery on August 28.

Four Hospital Talks Scheduled Next Week
Public meetings to explain the Dr. C. W. Jeffrey hospital proposal are scheduled in four communities next week. Meetings cover Swede Home Church Polk Community Hall St. Mary's church and Lone Star Store with an earlier session at Fairview School in the county. The Shelby meeting at the school gymnasium was held this week and attendance was good. A subsequent session is set for Monday September 21 at Fairview School in the valley.
