Residents from Lincoln and surrounding towns spent Labor Day weekend with relatives, attending reunions and visiting in Estes Park and Denver. Notes highlight anniversaries, pre nuptial dinners in Grand Island, and picnics in Kearney, plus travel updates for Janet Zedicher and Sharon Bryan.
Families visited relatives in Old Sunday and Lake Manawa with extended hospitality including the Hollis Campains the McFaddens and the Cunninghams. A 50th wedding anniversary and a 74th birthday were celebrated with family gatherings. Local couples hosted dinners and a planned lunch sale by Swede Home and Stromsburg teens.
Mr and Mrs Dick Zedicher and family left Osceola for National City California after visiting his parents Ben and Mrs Zedicher They will visit relatives in Texas en route and Slayton Minnesota before returning. CWO and Mrs R A Poland and family arrived from Nuremberg Germany with their new daughter Betty adopted in Europe They will settle in Aberdeen Maryland after visiting relatives in Polk Sargent and other places.
