Funeral held for Mrs. Clarence Peterson at Polk
The funeral of Mrs. Clarence Peterson nee Rhoda Gustafson took place Friday at the Polk Methodist Church. She had lived in Gerny Nebraska since her husband’s January death. Ira Shostrom, 83, was honored Tuesday evening at a birthday gathering at the Dana Shostrom home.

Social gathering honors Oxnard couple with Mexico tour slides
A large group of relatives and friends met at Edwin L. Anderson home Tuesday evening to honor Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Ecton of Oxnard California. Mrs Ecton displayed colored slides from their February Mexico City tour featured in Life and Time magazines. John Anstrom now in Los Angeles also made the tour, while Mrs Ecton formerly Amanda Wilson is well known locally.
