Calmar J Herrmann entered the army in July 1941. He took a three months course in mechanics at the coast artillery school at Monroe Virginia and is now at Ft Adams Rhode Island. He is the son of Mr and Mrs Harry Herrmann and graduated from Osceola High School with the class of 1935.

Miss Mary Ericson, employed at L A Erickson Jewelry store, resigned and will teach in Gresham the coming year.
