Indiana man killed when car upsets on highway
William Christoff, 20, of Gary Indiana, died after his Ford coupe overturned on highway 92 near Osceola while en route to Colorado. Passenger Ray Kenworthy, also of Gary, escaped with minor injuries. Christoff died several hours later at Osceola hospital. His body was later taken to Wisconsin for burial.

Fire destroys home of A. Long in Osceola
A two story residence owned by A. Long in west Osceola burned early Saturday morning. Fire of unknown origin swept the structure while no one was at home. Household goods and personal belongings were consumed and the loss is covered by insurance.
