Obituary for Mrs. James C. Logan of Polk County

Mrs. James C. Logan died Sunday at her northwest Shelby home after a three year illness that grew critical. Funeral Tuesday at Wesley Chapel with Rev. L Morrison and burial at the church cemetery. Born Margaret A. Merrick in Meaford Ontario October 30, 1853, she moved to Polk County in 1871 and married James C. Logan in 1886, leaving six surviving siblings and five children William C. Logan Earl Logan Frank Mary and Wallace Logan. She was a 40 year member of the Methodist church and respected by all who knew her.
