Ada Courtney Crabill daughter of Wm and Luella Courtney was born December 19 1878 on the Polk County Nebraska homestead and died in Des Moines Iowa September 28 1923. She lived in Osceola from 1879 and graduated high school in 1896. She married Joseph B Crabill in 1899. he died in 1921. Survived by daughter Lillian Black granddaughter Evelyn Black father William Courtney brothers Clyde and John Courtney. Funeral October 1 1923 in Osceola with Rev Randolph. interred Osceola cemetery.

Mrs. Wm. H. Kelley of Shelby died at 11:30 this morning after a long diabetes battle. Funeral services will be held at the M. E. church in Shelby at 2:30 tomorrow, with Rev. C. E. Ruch and Rev. G. T. Lavery officiating. The burial will be in Caneiro, Kansas, where her remains will be taken overland. She leaves her husband William H. Kelley and two children Floyd Todd and Mrs. Ilert Aden. an obituary will appear next week.
