Four Osceola High School music students Betsy Nash Steve Sigler Judy Koehler and Jeanne Inness attended the State Music Clinic at McCook last week with music director Fred Allen. About 1000 top musicians from various schools participated. Nash sang a solo with the chorus Inness played in an orchestra group Koehler was in a band group and Nash and Sigler joined a chorus. The Osceola group returned home Sunday.

Three football fans traveled to Den ver to see Wyoming-Denver freshmen play. Bob Wieseman Max Hennings and Holly Grossnicklaus joined two Osceola youths enrolled at Wyoming to watch Jan Grossnicklaus play while Leroy Gabriel had a broken leg. On return the group sheltered in Sidney overnight due to a blizzard.

Osceola Native Blanche Clark Dies in Seattle Hospital
Blanche M. Clark 76 of 615 Boren Ave Seattle died November 4 after a long illness. Born in Osceola Nebraska she moved to Seattle in 1942 from New York City widow of Dr Bert B Clark who died in 1947. Surviving nephews Wellman Clark Spokane and Charles J Clark Buenos Aires. Cremation followed funeral services held November 5. She was niece of John H Jarmin and Edwin R Jarmin and descendant of Daniel Jarmin.
