Fire Prevention Activity Held the Stage Here Today
Twenty three inspectors from the Nebraska State Fire Inspection Assn conducted a full survey of the town. They inspected the business district churches school house elevator and mills with citizen cooperation. The school house showed forty nine defects including poor fire escapes and bad attic wiring. Public buildings mostly had defective wiring and janitors used kerosene for heating fires. A public meeting will present a summary of the day with two educational pictures.
