A P Tilley died at 12 15 am Monday November 15 after a brief illness at his Gospel Ridge residence. Funeral services were held at his home and Swede Home Lutheran church with multilingual tributes. He was a Polk County pioneer who helped found the Swede Home colony and organize local schools. He leaves a widow and six children, with ties to Sweden and Illinois roots.

Mrs. Louisa Johnson Pehrson born January 19 1841 in Pelas Sweden died aged 79 9 22 sure six months. She married Peter J Pehrson in 1866 and moved to Polk County Nebraska in 1880 later living in Osceola. Survived by husband son August Pehrson daughter Mrs Frank Sjogr en seven grandchildren. Funeral from home and Lutheran church conducted by Rev A Serenius with quartet. Interment in Swede Home cemetery.

Remains of James T Bonner Laid to Rest in Nebraca
The remains were brought from Paxton Nebr after death from bronchial pneumonia on November 13. Services were in Columbus led by Rev W A Allbright and interment by the M W A. Survived by widow and eight children including Mrs E V Price of Paxton and Walter D of Salt Lake City. Bonner formerly ran a furniture store in Osceola and later farms in Clear Creek precinct before moving to Columbus.
