Honey Sunday Volunteers to Sell Honey Door to Door
About 20 to 25 volunteers will go door to door Sunday selling honey as part of the Honey Sunday campaign. Sponsored by the state Junior Chamber of Commerce, the effort raises funds for the retarded cause. Local chairman Roy Trotter says 200 containers have been ordered for sale between 1 30 and 3 30 pm Sunday.

Polk County Voter Registration Schedule Announced
County Clerk Dale Frizzell outlines deputy registrar locations and dates in Polk County. Shelby City Hall November 13 to 16 split by railroad line. Stromsburg REA Building November 17 to 24 with a north south division. Registration on those days is not required but will speed the work.

Miss Kopetzky of Lone Star area sustained chest injuries and is hospitalized in Columbus after a two car crash five miles north of junction 81 92 east of Shelby. Wayden Anderson of Stromsburg drove the other car. both vehicles were wrecked. Miss Kopetzky is a senior at Aquinas in David City, daughter of Mr and Mrs Kopetzky.
