The W C T U holds an open meeting on Wednesday November 24 at 2 30 pm at Mrs George Moore’s home with delegates reporting from the state convention. Despite a Sunday rainstorm the Armistice Day events in Osceola drew solid crowds. The afternoon football game and the Auditorium show and dance were well attended. Rev. G T Lavery of Shelby spoke on Americas Golden Hour after a Legion quartet, with prayers by Rev J A Klein and benediction by Rev Thos E Barr. The Osceola band performed at 2:00 PM.
