The Polk County Board of Commissioners met in regular session with all members present and proceedings focused on routine county governance items and requested agenda items for future sessions.
County commissioners audit and approve a list of warrants for the General Fund including supplies, labor, and insurance expenses as they adjourn until November 16 1948. The Board of Education likewise approves claims for Lincoln Telephone gas and instructional supplies and adjourns after resigning payroll alignment. Mrs David Timm returns from Illinois after six weeks with family near Swede Home.
