Farm Girl Becomes Osceola Homemaking Teacher

Audrey Schropfer, a 1977 University of Nebraska Lincoln graduate, serves as a homemaking instructor in the Osceola school system. A native of Ohiowa, she teaches adult living, ninth grade, foods and clothing, and an eighth grade girls class, and assisted volleyball this season.

Tim Siemek named deputy sheriff for Polk County and native of Columbus. He served three years as a Platte County patrolman, finished at Platte College, and earned a law enforcement certification in Grand Island in 1975. He and his wife Connie have a one year old daughter Amy and live southeast of Osceola on a farm with horses and pets.
