Susan Lohr Finecy born July 17, 1842 in Shanksville Pennsylvania died May 25 1934 at her granddaughter's home in Osceola Nebraska aged 91 years 10 months 8 days. She married Joshua Finecy in 1864 and had eight children. The family moved to Polk County in 1872 and settled near Beulah. Funeral held at Osceola Methodist Church with burial in Osceola Cemetery.

Polk Co Pioneer Windberg Dies Suddenly at 72
Will A. Windberg a Polk County pioneer aged 72 died suddenly at his home near Polk Friday afternoon. Born in Sweden in February 1862 he moved to Polk County as a child and lived there over 55 years. Survived by wife Josephine and three sons Morvis Willard Cecil and three daughters Ruth Evelyn Josephine and one more, plus two brothers and a sister. Funeral services were held at the home and Baptist Church Monday afternoon led by Rev J L Hed bloom.
