Four Year Old Injured in Osceola Auto Crash Between Osceola and Shelby
Judith Ann James, four year old daughter of Mr and Mrs Gilbert James of David City, suffers a severe head injury in an auto collision midway between Osceola and Shelby Sunday night. The James car stopped for a light failure and was struck by a car driven by James Graham of Shelby. In the James vehicle were Mr and Mrs James, their daughter, and another child. Both cars were badly wrecked.

District 12 welfare directors and staff from Platte Boone Merrick Nance Stanton Colfax and Polk counties gathered in Osceola for a 10 a m session with Field Supervisor Miss Berniece Amspoker to discuss medical needs and nursing home care for recipients. Myron Crego an 86 year old from Greeley Colorado broke his hip last Wednesday after falling on the steps of the Crouse Tex Drug Store. He was with his wife a niece and a nephew on a trip from Indiana homeward to Greeley and was treated at St Francis hospital and later returned home by ambulance.
