Girl loses hand in mill accident near Osceola

Last Saturday a girl, the daughter of Ed Grossnicklaus, was helping at a one-horse grist mill when her left hand was caught in the mill bars, mangling the hand. Surgeon L. M. Shaw amputated the wrist, and the child was returned home five miles north of Osceola and is recovering.
