Word comes of a serious accident at the Hermann home in Washburn Texas when a buggy team ran away after a horse slipped its bridle. Mrs Emima Herrmann wife of Will Herrmann daughter of Mr and Mrs William Koehler suffered a head cut and facial injuries while children were bruised. Elton Koehler, her brother, left for Washburn upon hearing the news.
The Osceola chapter 24 gave the Obligation Ceremony during the McCook Nebraska Grand Chapter session drawing praise from about 600 delegates. The convention, running Tuesday through Thursday, concluded with high regard for Osceola and two other chapters for their exemplifications.
Having decided to discontinue running a garage the McCoy Auto Co says it will close out all accessories including Aresto tanks chains batteries and inner boots at reduced price.

G R Goldsberry traveled to Lincoln by motor. The Royal Nolghbors hosted a banquet at Mrs W W Bhiers home Saturday after. Mr and Mrs game dhegner visited from Grandstand today and are visiting Mrs Kepner's father Andrew J Swanson along with Kepner relatives for a few days.
Notice that the garbage dump on the J. P. Berck place west of the city will be closed after May 1. No further garbage may be dumped there, and the date as PEBERCE is noted.
Omaha hosts Nebraska Elks convention June 12 to 14 featuring a large Flag Day celebration. Delegations urged from Nebraska and nearby areas. Ak Sar Ben hosts guests on opening day with local entertainment and gatherings planned. Community items note store openings and local visits around May events.
