Hospital Notes From Osceola Hospital
Ed Keith returned Monday to his York home after several days as a medical patient at Osceola Hospital. Mrs. Ed Sam Johnson was admitted Tuesday for medical care at Osceola Hospital and is Dr. Harley Eklund's patient. Mrs. Delmar Johnson, who had surgery there two weeks ago, returned home Saturday. Ted Anderson underwent a major operation Tuesday and is Dr. R. L. Schroeder's patient. Mrs. D. W. Adair remains a patient and will be released later this week.

Obituary of Frank Summers Cherry Founding Stromsburg Resident
Frank Summers Cherry born September 18 1871 in Darlington Wisconsin died May 3 1935 at 63 years seven months and 15 days after a nearly two year illness. He moved to Polk County at age two and lived in Stromsburg except for a few months in Elm Creek Nebraska. He married Annettie Seerley October 13 1892 and had five children William Raymond Charles Bernice. Nellie Ruth died in infancy. He leaves five grandchildren one sister Mrs Edd Bloomquist and many friends. Funeral Sunday at the Methodist Church Stromsburg with Rev E C Staley in charge. interment in Stromsburg Cemetery.
