The Central Meat Market changed hands Friday with L D Garner selling to Chas Brockenrocksr of Hershey who will take possession on April 15. The purchaser is new to Osceola residents but described as a first class business man. Garner has not announced further business plans.
Luther Church announces Sunday School at 10 a.m. Divine services at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. Evening services now begin thirty minutes later and will be in English. Luther League meets Thursday at 7 p.m. Ladies Aid hosts Friday social at 8 p.m. with a short mission program and refreshments. Everyone is welcome.
A large Sunday night gathering focused on the second sermon in the series titled A young Man and His Money. Next Sunday features The Young Man and His Marriage as the final talk. The pastor attends the Tri State Educational Convention in York this week and Epworth Teague hosts a social in the Brotherhood room Wednesday night.
