Community Club Votes to Give Band Stand to Garden Club
At a noon meeting in the Hotel Rapp the Community Club decided to turn the old band stand over to the Garden Club. The Masons donated the vacant lot for beautification. The old band platform will be torn down after years of disuse. There is little enthusiasm for a baseball season in Osceola with semi pro ideas debated. A state engineer will study a proposed highway route change along the railroad right of way for Highways 16 and 81 through Osceola.
