Contractors meet on conservation program in Polk County
The Polk County oil and water conservation district held a conservation meeting for contractors on March 3 at the Osceola office. Attendees included Robert Bryan Silver Creek Raymond Burke Stromsburg Eugene Davis David City SD Fetters Monroe L Dert Van Pelt Clarks Al Werth Buck Swanson and Bob Cermak Stromsburg Glen Krohn county agent. Gene Sterup ASCS manager explained the 1966 agricultural conservation program and purchase orders. John Overing SCS area engineer Hebron discussed changes in construction and material specifications.
