The Polk County Agricultural Board reports the 1961 Fair set for August 14 to 17 is coming together. Attractions include wrestling on Aug 14, thrill drivers Aug 15, Grand Ole Opry Aug 16, and 4 H and Extension Day Aug 17. Two bicycles will be given away by the Osceola Chamber of Commerce with drawings each evening and free merchandise from merchants. A carnival with 12 rides is on contract. Plan to attend.
