Clothing Burned In Sunday Evening Fire
Mr and Mrs Floyd Lyle of Polk lost most clothing and part of their furniture Sunday evening when a fire started in a clothes closet. Polk Fire Department arrived quickly and extinguished the blaze. Damage mostly from smoke and water. furniture removed. Cause not determined but believed to result from combustion of oily clothes. Insurance covered the property. Mr Lyle had no insurance on personal effects. Damage to furniture and clothing estimated at 200 dollars.
