A long list of acquaintances, visits, travels, and small events across Osceola and Polk County. The note reads like a community digest with calls, arrivals, departures, and minor errands involving residents such as Fleming, Brown, Kunkel, Hartman, and many others, plus brief notices of sales, auctions, and church or school happenings.
An ice cream and strawberry social is planned for Saturday evening June 15 at the home of Mr. Frank Frizzell. All are invited. The usual church services will be held next Sunday at the usual time.
In the Henderson Block in the room formerly occupied by the Osceola Band he offers cleaning and pressing on short notice with guaranteed satisfaction. Tailoring and cleaning line invites patrons to bring in their work.
A number of people have expressed a strong desire to hear Mrs. Wilcox preach. She will occupy the pulpit both morning and evening next Sunday. Rev. Wilcox will attend Commencement at Wesleyan University and spend Sunday at the State Camp Meeting at Epworth Assembly grounds. Attend services for good music and a treat.
