Army GIs Update from World War II Service List
Corporal John Craven enlisted in February 1943. After basic training at Camp Hahn California he went overseas in April 1944 with an anti aircraft unit that saw action in the German theater. He is the son of Mr and Mrs George Craven and his wife now resides with them. Private Robert Fischer of the Medical Detachment at McCook Army Air Base spends his furlough in Osceola with his parents. Cadet Nurse JoAnn Wallace of St Joseph Hospital Omaha visited her parents Dr and Mrs W O Wallace. Corporal Calmer Boden, with the Army in Manila, has been promoted from Private First Class.
