Farmers Offered All Risk Crop Insurance for Winter Wheat
Nebraska farmers may enroll in all risk crop insurance for winter wheat for the first time since 1943. The federally backed program by the Federal Crop Insurance Corporation allows two contracts covering 75 percent or 50 percent of expected yield, for a three year period. Applicants must be from at least fifty farms in the county. contracts are issued by AAA Committeemen and county appointed agents. Sign before August 31 or before seeding time, and contact your AAA Committeeman for details.
