Manhattan Oil Station installed an automatic tire inflator with a bell that signals when the set pressure is reached. Merrill Horst narrowly escaped after inhaling exhaust gas at Anderson Chevrolet Co. he recovered quickly. Mrs B F Brown dislocated a shoulder in a depot steps fall while visiting Grand Island relatives, but continued after treatment.

Auto Runs Over Boy Without Injury Near Robt McBeth Farm
A ten year old boy riding with his parents from Ohio escaped serious harm when a touring car struck a stray calf, went into a ditch, and a second car passed over him without touching his body. He was unconscious for hours but recovered. The first car was towed to town. the calf died. The parents work at the Harry Hewitt farm.
