Dr James Grossenbach a clinical psychologist joins the Pioneer Mental Health Center Osceola Mondays to promote community mental health through schools courts and churches. He and his wife Susan have two daughters and will move to York in August.

Polk County Fair set for July 27 30 Bicentennial events planned
The 101st Polk County Fair runs July 27 to 30 with Bicentennial Day July 28. Volunteers are sought to demonstrate skills of bygone days and display exhibits in the east and west buildings, including quilt work art and crafts, with ribbons for all participants. Upper Big Blue NRD invites landowners with 1 to 10 acres of hard to farm terrain to enroll in its Wildlife Habitat Improvement Program starting July 1. Bicentennial Worship At St Paul Lutheran Church
