Hogs total 83,008 with Platte 5,708 and Osceola 5,882. Island 1,010. Disease hits livestock, hog losses totaling 7,946 countywide, with Valley 1,586 deaths and Osceola 1,493. Hackberry lowest at 102. Island 888 and precinct hogs near equal, with 700 to 900 each except Clear Creek higher.
