Leaders from Polk County attended a January 1922 4-H training in Lincoln with Mrs. Burritt Shelby Mrs. Detmer Stromsburg and Mrs. Fernandez Osceola. State University specialists funded project and club management sessions and honored incomes from Aksarben Cooper Foundation Standard Oil Foundation and Rural Power Supplies. About 400 men and women from eastern Nebraska benefited and planned to assist other clubs. The group enjoyed a banquet theater square dancing and a Roger Richards Sweden talk and heard USDA 4-H leader C. C. Laig and Charline Lindsay. The week included separate agent meetings and subzero weather but concluded satisfactorily. Sheep shearing schools are set for February at Lincoln Gibbon and Morrill. DHIA Supervisor courses run Feb 15–19 with no fee.
