Polk County Commissioners Hear 1946 Proceedings And Budgets
The January 2 1946 Polk County Nebraska session audited claims from the General Fund and other accounts, approved wages for county offices, and adopted a 1946 wage scale. The board reorganized naming Owen McClung chairman and Arthur Nelson vice chairman, set salaries for county officials, designated newspapers for contractor notices, and approved budgets including Mothers Pension.
