Osceola residents and visitors keep a busy pace with trips to Lincoln Omaha and Kimball. Shippers send hogs and sheep while relatives attend funerals baptisms and weddings. Local officials and churches report gatherings trips and community events across Stromsburg Rising City and Polk counties.
The preacher notes both young men and women started last Sunday and already race to see who leads. Married men sit out. A young married class reports soon while the men's Bible class will hear a special address next Sunday. The morning sermon is The Humanity of God and the evening The Gospel of the Silence of God. The annual meeting of the stockholders of the Farmers Grain Co of Osceola will be held January 27 1920 at ten oclock in the morning. All members are requested to be present. The program will be announced later. A S Nelson secretary.

Davis and Bill Davis spent Sunday with their brother Wirt Davis and family. Mr and Mrs Louie Jauch and family visited August Jauch Sunday. Ed Scow and children spent Sunday evening with John and Mrs Lees. Mrs Frank Langhammer Jr was a guest of Mrs Harry Huddleston Thursday.
