Gaylan Ferris of Dallas, en route to Archer Nebraska to visit parents, became stranded quarter mile from the Wisers at 1 30 AM. He sought shelter in the Wiser home and awoke dawn. He was treated for frost bite and exhaustion and stayed until Monday. The Wisers expected their own son home on Sunday.
