Funeral services held for Melvin Smith Jonesville resident
Funeral services were held in Jonesville for Melvin Smith 35 wife of Harry B. Smith who died after a two week stay at Hillsdale Health Center. Prominent Polk farmer Oscar Stromberg dies at 67
Oscar Stromberg a Polk County farmer and livestock raiser died suddenly at his Polk farm February 21 1947. He was 67. He leaves wife Beda Peterson Colson seven sons and two daughters and a large extended family. He helped run the Stromberg Market with son Lloyd and had long community involvement.
