Funeral for Mrs Augusta Green in Stromsburg
Funeral services were held at the Olson home in Stromsburg for 77 year old Mrs Augusta Green who died last week in Turlock California. Rev Theo S C Ramsey led the rites with interment in Stromsburg Cemetery. Surviving are her husband W H Green a brother August W Johnson of southeast of Osceola and several other relatives.

Former Polk resident Alex Lind dies in Omaha
Alex Lind andd 78 former Polk resident died at his Omaha home Sunday from a stroke suffered last Tuesday. He was active in Polk real estate about eleven years ago and later retired in Omaha. He leaves his wife and two Omaha daughters Vida and Eunice, a daughter-in-law Pearl Lind of South Dakota, six brothers Henry Albert John Emil Will Charles Y, two sisters Anna Gabrielson and H E Carlson. Funeral services were held in Omaha with short Masonic rites in Holdrege and burial there.
