55th Wedding Anniversary Observed by 150 Guests
One hundred fifty relatives and friends gathered Sunday at the Stromsburg home of Mr and Mrs David Timm to honor their 55th wedding anniversary which falls on February 14. The event featured a Valentine motif with decorations and cake served in a receiving line including the couple’s daughters in law and sons in law, and several siblings and extended family from Osceola Alliance Holdrege Omaha Lincoln and California. The Timms have lived in Osceola Swede Home Moline Illinois and Stromsburg before settling in Nebraska two years ago.

Progress Report On New Building At Co. Hospital
The Annie Jeffrey Memorial County Hospital new building has paused for about a month with brick work nearly done and the foundation nearly complete. Once weather allows, steel floor joists will be set and a cement floor poured, heaters to prevent freezing.
