Death of Uncle Si Rapp Proprietor of Rapp Hotel
S. K. Rapp known as Uncle Si Rapp, owner of the Rapp Hotel for about twelve years, died after a week and a half of illness. He was 71. Funeral services are set for Friday at the hotel at 11 am, then in Columbus at Trinity Lutheran Church with interment in Columbus Cemetery. He is survived by his widow.

Joe Malek Dies at 61 at Polk County Farm
Joe Malek 61 died Tuesday at the Polk County Farm where he resided for six years. An invalid for years, he was born in Poland and came to America about thirty years ago. He had no surviving relatives in this country. Services will be held tomorrow at nine at St. Marys Church on the valley, with Rev. Wieszczynsky in charge. Interment will follow in St. Marys Cemetery.
