Osceola sees a population uptick as college students and relatives return home for holidays. The item notes homecoming joy, extended three-day weekends, and renewed community spirit amid seasonal celebrations.
Stromsburg residents Willis Davis and Enoch Ekstrand of Stromsburg were named co-chairmen of the Heart Fund Drive in Polk County.
