Rosenberry and Willis Wed in Wayland Parsonage

Mr. J. J. Rosenberry and Mrs. Jessie Willis were married last Thursday in the Wayland parsonage by Rev. C. B. Nelson after presenting a license. Rosenberry, a local farmer, had bached five years while Mrs. Willis, from Trenton Missouri, recently moved here and made friends. The couple express hopes for a happier life together.

Oats Investigations

Nebraska Experiment Station issues a bulletin on oats testing over 15 years showing early varieties suit most Nebraska and yield more than late types. In 12 years three early varieties averaged 11.1 bushels per acre 22 percent higher than four later varieties. Nebraska No 21 white Kherson strain yielded 9 to 15 percent more than the Kherson source.
