Nicholas Macken born New Castle Ireland June 1 1843 died Goldendale Washington December 14 1916. He came to America at ten lived in Michigan married Evelyn C Warner February 11 1868 eight children born seven living. Surviving children listed in Nebraska Iowa and Washington. Wife died in 1900s. Macken moved from Michigan to Minnesota to Nebraska then to Goldendale. He served as Polk County treasurer 1892 93. Funeral held from Mrs Detweller Osceola with Father Wagoner Shelby. burial Osceola cemetery.
