John Bills spent Sunday with his brother Fred while Grandpa Taylor and Dewey Seygler are both very sick this week. Mrs. Fred Linstrom visited her brother-in-law Carl Linstrom on Monday. John Peterson and his wife were at Andrew Carl gon’s home Sunday. District 12 school closed due to illness among children. Names among the sick include Mable Anderson Baby Doremus and Mable Waggoner. Olof Erickson of Durant died Tuesday after a period of illness. funeral was held Friday. he leaves a wife and family and many friends mourning.

Plaintiffs seek foreclosure satisfaction of a $300 mortgage recorded July 13 1876 in Polk County. Defendants include Isabella Evans Alice Masterman Frank Hoyt Julia Hoyt Mary McDougall Luther McDougall and unknown claimants. Plaintiff asks court to bar all interests and obtain foreclosure decree.
