Harold Hauberg assumes administrative duties at Grinnell Community Hospital effective December 5 in Grinnell Iowa. The 41 bed facility aims to expand to 80 to 85 beds. Hauberg previously served 22 months as administrator at Annie Jeffrey Memorial County Hospital before being succeeded by Philo Hewitt. The Hauberg family plans to move to Grinnell soon after Christmas.

Collision in South Osceola injures rider at hospital road
An accident at 7 30 a m Monday on the road to the hospital involved Fr R Chonta driving south and Doyle Hahn westbound on Sherman Street. Miss Mary Brell suffered a left side injury and is hospitalized while Hahn received a cut lip and was treated and released. The two cars a 1951 Chevrolet and a 1961 Oldsmobile were badly damaged.
